Visit from Caleb!

Oasis had a interesting visit from Caleb and his parents. While the weather wasn't so great, the visit was delightful.

Upon arrival, Caleb just wanted to be with Pepere.
Here we can see, Joline, Andre & Caleb and... who's that making a clown face in the background...
Caleb's first dinghy ride.

He had fun talking on the walky-talky.
Memere's pancake and fruit breakfast is always a big hit.

Anchored in Larrys River / Tor Bay, NS

Oasis had her most rough voyage yet. The trip from Arichat to Larrys River / Tor Bay was not a comfortable one, the seas were 10ft-12ft with fog, rain, cold and just a miserable day. We were happy to throw the anchor in a nice Cove in Larrys River, NS. The skipper and crew made this nice dinner on the BBQ at anchor and went to bed early, beat from the day.

Oasis arrived at Port Hawkesbury, Cap Breton, NS on July 25, 2011 at 1400. There was a crew swap, Roselind (the skipper's wife) went home and Raymond (the skipper's brother) hopped on board to continue the voyage.

Hello Charlottetown.

Left Summerside at 0800. Fishermen were out for a stroll.

The Confederation Bridge is always impressive when sailing under.
Oasis docked at the CYC.
The 185ft 6-storey mega yacht "Silver Shalis" docked at the CYC. Someone said the vessel belongs to the owner of the NYC World Trade Centre towers.
